Damn man, this game is so poorly built on the inside when softlocks can happens for whatever reasons this way...

It would be interesting to understand how it is possible though, could it be linked for a special value that you get when you lower Jack's HP that makes it impossible to kill him ?

Not an offcial response here, but to me it should be allowed as long as the demo is still obtainable in order to get the dirty coin.

Otherwise, if someday the demo is not downloadable anymore, the use of the dirty coin should be in a special category.

Looks like every time I hit him when he gets weak he instantly recovered, first time it happened to me.

I'm pretty sure this game is broken as hell and we can find a lot more glitches than there already are to be honest.

Seriously I have no idea but this game have many issues with loading overall, seeing the TV skip and this now, even Jack's first encounter skip seems reliable.

Could it be linked to hardware issues such as lack of resources allowed to the game ? Unfortunately my knowledge about computer science stops here.

But even if it's hardware related or game related, there are probably ways to tests different factors to see what's up with this. Maybe overloading the savestates in game and load em all before starting a new game might cause some effects ?

Besides, when messing around with the out of bounds glitch I realized that areas are loading following a specific path, and when the game overloads it just spawns you after a loading screen not at the exact spot you were. Maybe we could get some theory out of it

T'es sûr que c'est pas ton clavier qui se retrouve plus détecté ? Ca m'arrive quand je parle sur steam avec ce jeu ou autre raccourci clavier, soit ma souris soit mon clavier soit les deux marchent plus quand je reviens in game, obligé de refaire le raccourci pour parler steam et revenir et c'est de nouveau détecté... M'enfin j'utilise alt-tab pour ouvrir d'autres fenêtres maintenant et plus de problèmes
