I found an OOB in the factory, that let me skip the Engine room entirely. Overall it saved me about 50 seconds, so I don't think it would be worth going for more than one or two attempts before it becomes a time loss. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it a more significant skip, because the game requires the horse relief to be used, before the cog mold is even picked up. Doing otherwise soft locks the game. Anyway, hopefully this skip ends up being helpful.
