Adding the category extensions would be a great idea, especially for the “tame wolf” and “tycoon%”
I like the idea of both “Tame Wolf” and the different tabs for nightmare and normal difficulties. I currently have not played during the new update yet but when I do I’m sure I’ll have some feedback, in my opinion, if changes should be made or not
im not saying to just get rid of or change the other categories for more than one person, im saying that with the more than one person categories its just the same thing as the solo runs with more people. its not truly a multiple person run if only one person has to complete it. there would be more strategies made out and more interesting runs if everyone had to get to the finish. speedrunning is about getting creative and by making it only one person to the finish kinda locks the creativity people will try. not a lot of games are made to speedrun but speedrunners make them speedrun games by finding things that casual players wouldnt normally try out themselves. all im saying is i think for the community to really grow and people wanting to hunt runs more is by making it so everybody has to finish the run. That is all my opinion though but i just wanted you guys to try to hear me out about it
i understand what you mean but it really doesnt make it interesting at all, youll just see the same thing over and over again used in each run. what other games though do you know that allow just one player to do the task while the others dont need to do anything
wait but whats the point of having multiple player sub catergories if it doesnt matter what any of the other players do?
yeah i think all players would have to touch the sign or whatever the designated end is because its just another solo run atp
it doesnt really make sense to me how you can confirm a run on duo, trio, etc as complete once only one player finishes bc then there is just no point in having that kind of category able to be speedrunable

i mean thats what youre putting at risk for speedrunning a game that has only just come out. there have been many other games that had to change their speedrun strats due to bugs being updated.
ok so i saw how it says that you need player inputs to start the time of a run. i just want to verify, that if you open the box for the cowboy and the horse spawns with the saddle on it and you spawn on the horse, would it still not count your time yet?
Is there a video to better describe what you mean by those?
