Hey everyone! First of all I'd like to say that I'm ecstatic to see some more people pick this game up. I started running Cryptark a few years ago assuming that I would be the only runner and its been super cool to see more people here.

With that being said, the purpose of this thread is to ask what we should do about the Weevil Teleport glitch. As noted by Stryk3r in the description of their new run, sometimes when you teleport out of a hull with Weevil the game will assume that you're still in the hull and allow you to shoot guns. This is critical for Weevil because the rail gun can shoot through walls and attack systems from the outside of the hull. In my experience its pretty unreliable but there may be a setup for it. Sometimes its worse to not be flying (when you have to travel long distances) but sometimes its quite advantageous (when you can blow up a system from outside the ship).

In my opinion, this glitch is pretty game-breaking. Being able to shoot at systems from outside the ship ignores the core mechanic of the game. It's true that some interesting and creative routing can come out of it but overall I feel its a downgrade vs. not allowing it. In my opinion, it takes some skill expression out of the game, and I think the runs are more engaging without it.

With that being said, it is really, really easy to do accidentally and I could see it being really frustrating to have to reset runs every time a wayward teleport sends you out of the map.

Also, I'd like to clarify that I'm not trying to take away from Stryk3r's run at all!! That run is super sick and they totally deserve the record. I just wanted to see how everyone felt about this concept.
