We’ve talked about this a lot before on the pikmin discord and ultimately set on the current rule set.

We could make a sub category banning dingo but that doesn’t change what is currently done. It only adds more to do making the run longer and having more room for mistakes.

Lastly it could be argued against the spirit of the game, the goal of speedrunning is finishing as soon as possible. Dingo lets us finish soon and is by definition done in the spirit of speedrunning.

Gave this a shot myself. Fell just short of finishing on day 3. This could absolutely exist as a category with the full game through.
