Thought I'd introduce myself since there was a board for it ☺

So, I'm FoxPug (Fox is preferred if you wanna shorten it)

I never thought I'd ever submit a speedrun and I'm not sure if I'll ever run anything other than Castlevania any% (we'll see)

Castlevania has been a favorite of mine that I'd beaten in every way I could think of casually. I got a 1CC, a few deathless and even a whip only. It got to the point that I didn't want to stop playing a favorite, but I needed something new to do, so I figured that going fast was the peak; I stumbled on a great YouTube tutorial from Aphotic_Ktulu, dug my heels in and got to work on it.

My goal is to try to cut my time down to sub 12 and finding out if that'll keep me satisfied. Other than my limited participation I'm just psyched to be here, having enjoyed speedrunning as a spectator.

Appreciate the entertainment the community has provided over the years, and it's cool to be a part of it.
