Here's proof that I'm not just making this up:
And it turns out that you have to press HOME, -, +, -, +, 1, 2, 1, 2, A. I have completed two runs with a PB of 3:11. (It's unrecorded, unfortunately, but I can attempt to get a recorded one.)
Crash the game and bring up the exception handler. (For anyone that doesn’t know, the exception handler can only be shown after pressing 1, 2, 1, 2, -, +, -, +, then A after causing a massive glitch. Time starts upon first movement of Mario (to 1-1,) time ends when the handler appears on screen. There are two ways to do this, you can either A - eat 4 berries, then eat the 5th one with Yoshi and get damaged on the exact same frame, or B - use the infinite coin glitch in 4-C (I’m might be wrong about that) multiple times to overwhelm the game. One is faster, but the other one is MUCH easier. I would be interested to see how speedrunners would tackle this.

Hello, I'm not sure if anyone is active on this game, but let's give it a shot:
I was considering doing a run of this game, mainly as a joke (This Game Blows!) and I was wondering if video proof is 100% required for runs. I am asking this because I do not have an easy way of recording a 5+ Hour Run. If I could provide a picture with the splits and the finished game, perhaps, would that work?

Such as: 1 Heavenly Chip Hardcore etc. Categories like 1 Million Cookies and Neverclick would be insanely short, so probably don't add those as categories.
You realize games like Cookie Clicker have really big speedrunning communities? This is very similar to that, to be fair
As of right now, no. At least, with the strats that we can currently pull off as humans. This could change in the future however
I don't know whether to submit this to the main categories or not, so I'm putting it here. The category is simple, get both players to Pro Status in any sport as fast as possible. (You don't gain any points in sports such as baseball, maybe another one but I don't remember)
Obtain 10 Pets. Time starts upon selecting first name and time ends when "You Won!" pops up after rescuing the 10th pet. A shorter version of the proposed "300Pet%" Category.
