NG+ is a fun mode, a really crazy mode that is easier than NG because of it's less stringent requirements to get from Level 1 to 10 with all access to the items. "But Flame, we're supposed to use a blank save, so how on earth can we get NG+ files for Speedrunning the missions?" I hear you cry; fear not, as I will devulge the secrets.

there are 2 Cheats you must perform in order to begin running this category (and NG+ GM if you're so crazy), and one of these must be done a total of 99 times.

The first is the All Ninja Tools: At the item selection screen, hold R1 and press Left, Left, Down, Down, Square, Square, Triangle, Circle. this should unlock every GM item available in the game. The Second (and more tedious one) is the Increase Items: At the item selection screen, hold L2 and press Left, Left, Down, Down, Square, Square, Triangle, X. This one will have to be done a total of 99 times to make sure Mines get to 99 items.

One thing you must be aware: when you have done the cheats, you must DIE in the game as soon as you load in rather than pressing Start+Select simultaneously (I know this goes against everything Ninjas would do, but in order to make NG+ happen: we gotta go out like a glorious Samurai this one time), otherwise you'll have the misfortune of doing these cheats once again and regret it everytime as your hands cramp up over the amount of times you've needed to press left-left-down-down-square-square-triangle (and trust me: short-term carpal tunnel is not what we wanna endorse in speedrunning, but if it is what it takes to learn: I suppose being a folious glutton is a past-time... We've all been there).

If for those who're lucky to use Xebra: I've already done that arduous task for you if you check the Resources tab. Or if you just want to practice the run but not actually do a run: Njnja_QK has provided the ReArmed save where he has done the hard work for you. it would however be ideal that we make Mednafen saves and Beetle saves doing this for people so they can easily obtain it without these cheats (though these are more for Console runners.)
