100% or Good ending or all watering can. Not sure why its missing in the first place, seems like a must. I'll gladly research these with ya if there's any interest.
TY @LadyStarbird. The rules and instructions written out on speedrun.com are clearly and easy to follow... I would also recommend following them and not posting to the forum for such things.
Is there a way to uses wall clips to shorten the "final" level. This is the only spot I've tested, but its easy and can def be used to travel around a bit without the coffins.
can we use this tech to skip anything or does it just break the game?
ILs do not breed competition. They simple serve as a way for lower skill, lower commitment runners to hold hundreds of shared WRs in games they have little to no skill in and have no interest in being in the community. Leave ILs to the mobile and online games so the non-reteo gamers can feel good about them selves, but do weaken a good NES community.
What about a category based on a score goal? Routing would have to include fruits, kills w/ fruits, jumps, and timer bonus in a fairly unique way I'd assume. It also, doesn't take away from the normal categories in anyway and It's unique enough to be a for sure misc. category (won't even show up to over shadow the main categories).
So, NoWW 1-1 to f-1, then warpless through 2-2, whistle W4 and beat 4-1/4-2, whistle W6 and beat warpless, WW in 7-1?
There was nothing wrong with your choice in release as both are accepted for submission (you just may think your time is slightly better than it is). Note a WR can not be submitted from an emulated run regardless of region. Just wait for your verified times to show before you take action like deletion. Instead, just edit the time you clam in the title/description of the video to match the time verified by the speedrun.com moderator to avoid misleading viewer that may find your clips. Also, don't worry about the video, as once you're good at the route, a sub 50sec run happens every practice session... so you'll have some good footage again in no time. Happy Grinding! :)
The wrong warp doesn't work on the standard NES Classic version... so the category doesn't exist on the Classic. Google RetroArch and you'll be able to hook the Classic up to a computer and fix some of its inherent issues.
Thanks to all the folks that make our submissions possible, and thanks to those that take their time to verify our efforts.
