So everyone just has to join as soon as possible on one guy?

For any% group do you all just start up the game at the same time? So when the first character gets control thats when you start the timer? I assume the whole group has to be starting a new character right?

What's up with all the place holders in the full game rules categories? What is requirement for any% of the game? Just completing the capitol building stronghold? Or completing all strongholds on WT4? Or WT5? Or completing all missions?

That being said, I see your poll and I see the interest you have gathered in the category, but I would like to point out that having the poll in this thread, is an echo chamber survey of opinions. You need to create a new poll and post in the in the #misc-categories channel of the SMO speedrunning discrod to gather a true representation of opinions on the nature of this category.

What do I mean by "echo chamber"? By posting a survey about the addition of the category in the same thread that is about said category, you are only gathering the opinions of those that were already interested enough to click into the thread, read through it, and find the poll. This is a skewed representation of the population of runners that make up SMOCE, and to get a better compiled result of opinions, you need to post a new poll in a common gathering place of SMOCE runners (aka the #misc-categories channel in the SMO speedrunning discord.)

Not really the same as nipple at all, as you dont have to collect any actual coins here. Just 15 purple coins in sand. Thus this would literally be any% cap, any% cascade, then fastest 15 purple coins in sand

There is nothing in the rules against it, but there is also nothing in the rules against using amiibos or assist mode... so I would say no for now. I think your best idea is to just bring this up in the discord and get others opinions on the matter.

I think you need to get a couple people behind it (don't have to necessarily be runners) and bring it up in the discord to get it added. Like maybe like at least 5 interested parties?
