I would like to request moderation for the game "Fluffball" ( https://www.speedrun.com/fluffball ) I have a run that has been pending for over 2 months ( https://www.speedrun.com/fluffball/run/m31e52gz ) and the current moderator @Goobler was last online 1 year ago. I have tried reaching out through discord but he hasn't even accepted my friend request

After all the controversy concerning the first places came to my attention, I realized that there were two ways to go about this whole thing. Either remove them all or remove none of them.

I do not know when the rule that made video in submissions necessary was put into effect, so i couldn't split up the runs in that way.

Some of the runs like the only 51 on the leaderboard and 2 out of the 4 48s in the leaderboard were obviously fake. The other 2 48s looked a lot more legit but were still very questionable as they were only screenshots of the end score, which could be really easily manipulated using either photo editing software, or just "Inspect element" to change the score.

So i decided to delete all the top scores that didn't have video proof supporting them. That included: The single 51 score, the four 48s , and more than half of the 45s on the leaderboard.

From now on video is necessary if you're contending for any of the top spots. Screenshots shall be allowed if your score is under 45 ( the rules will also be updated)

I apologize for all the confusions the top scores may have caused in the past and in the present, they were all verified by my predecessors, and I strive to correct them.

i was thinking of a pacifict category reset , but i feel like replacing only the wr would be a lot simpler and easier to do, and is good enough for now

P.s. question so i don't make a new forum post. Can we get die% in CE after today? Its a silly category but random seed would be a bit fun to do

@KilleDragon Editing a leaderboard was disabled yesterday because of all the "pranks" people did last year, so they couldn't implement it yesterday

What DaTroll said. The way the categories are set up its impossible to not have a category there so we've just made it so that nobody can submit

how would we even determine minimum shots in some levels. It seems more like a cool challenge idea rather than a speedrun category

I apologize about that. No idea what my past self was thinking. That runs time is now fixed.

All runs that say retimed under them while being verified by me (apart from that one apparently) have been retimed using the exact frame the gnome is detached from the catapult. Any other runs (verified my dmitry) were verified under his own timing (which i don't know of).

You can open the game in an incognito tab. That should do the trick
