i'd suggest changing the rules to say that it starts from a world peace state with no checkpoints taken, as that way it will be substantially easier to verify by using the toadette achievement at the end of the run. other than that, the movement is cool - especially cascade and i think its a good addition

categories get removed if there is a lack of activity

this lack of activity is normally due to either: an unreasonable goal (too difficult/boring) or not different enough from a main board category (e.g. festival%). if you wanna run the category go for it, but having categories with a single runner just so they can claim record clutters up the page

if it can't be replicated then its whatever - whether its allowed or not doesn't matter

if it can, i'd say it should be allowed, it would have a tiny impact in new save as i strongly suspect that maining prime gun is the fastest route

wii has faster loads compared to gamecube, yes

i'm about 90% sure that the route would optimally get 9400 on cascade exit then finish with the sand hint arts and wouldn't be interesting

if it ruins your runs, it clearly needs practice. figure out what you're doing wrong each time it fails

1.3 is the fastest version of the game. if you update your copy to 1.3 you'll be running on "1.3 physical" which has slightly worse load times, but unless you're a top level runner it won't really matter

this category can never work because its just pure RNG and is completely open to abuse.

you can say "make it only 40s balloons", but a big streamer could ask viewers to lay 40s balloons right by the start area.

1. its more of a challenge run as it makes movement unnecessarily restrictive
2. it would require hand cam
3. i HIGHLY doubt this will get enough runners to be added as a category extension

balloon world: won't be around forever, and is completely random / exploitable.

a popular streamer will have an easier timee by being "given" coins by their audience. hence LBW is and should remain to be banned in all categories

assuming this category starts from a world peace file, its interesting as a concept.

APM is a cool category because it showcases some cool tech - starting with globe storage, and using the snow painting jump and multiple death warps.

However, i don't think it will attract runners the way some other CE's have, it isn't short enough to be meme-y and it doesn't seem rewarding to run in anyway

conclusion: because you have to et 600 moons, most purple coins, world peace, break all moon rocks and get quite a lot of the moon rock moons, this category effectively ends up being somewhere between darker side and AUM. I believe that this category would be faster with dupe moons to hit 600, but still doesn't end up with much of a purpose. Therefore I don't think this would make an interesting category and would end up with very few (if any) runners.

the hotline miami TAS uses cheat engine to slow the game to give inhuman reactions because a conventional TAS doesn't work as the game has true RNG
