2 - Softlocks are a part of the run, if you get one, too bad. You can restart the game but the timer shouldn't be paused.
3 - If you do a run, you can submit it as any% and I will create the category

Everyone in the community involved with this game is about as convinced as it gets that niepanh's run uses some kind of script and is not done all by himself. He uses a variation of the infinite bug jump (IBJ) that doesn't involve switching weapons and requires near perfect inputs in very rapid succession. After running a script ourselves that was still slower than his run, we decided to hide/reject his run until the situation is resolved. He also did not reply to our messages up until now, so we will have to wait.
As far as I know, Taeruhs is working on an Any% run so the category shouldn't be empty for too long.

Usually a couple of days, but it may be a little longer during the festive season.

Q1: better to not use dlc
Q2: yes, ask a mod to add it after youve completed a run
Q3: no
Q4: yes, ask a mod to add them

100% for Chronicles would be fine since there is no backtracking, but I'm not sure about TRIV. I guess you would have to pickup everything possible in the first visit (for example miss a secret in City of the Dead due to no nitro) and finish the level the same way as IL run.
