Hey all, I just finished a run of true ending with a final time of 47:38. Couldn't record it since I can't record GBA games and am way worse on emulator but I do plan on submitting a run at a later date.

The run had some big issues for sure, most notably a slow level 1 and final boss of stage 2, as well as general sloppy movement and missing 2 counters at the end. Even still I got a pretty nice time so I definitely think the run has potential to go lower than even the current WR. The top 3 times of this game currently all use Enn, but in my testing I think Han might be faster thanks to Han Dynamic (->+B) being able to clear out huge swaths of enemies, saving significant time in stage 2, 4, and 5 at the cost of slower level 1 and 6. Stage 1 is slower because the cave section and Zur fight take more time, and stage 6 is slower because you actually need magic (the soul swords attack) to kill the final boss as quickly as possible, although this may not be much slower.

I think my next plan will be doing a quick run through of each character and noting my times, there's no real resource for who's fastest yet so hopefully this will be helpful.

Anyway, maybe it's weird to make a post like this for an old GBA game with 5 runners, but I wanted to put my thoughts somewhere since this has been one of my favorite games for 18 years now.
