I recommend swapping from HTML5 to the flash player.

1. Don't play on web, try playing on the flash player. You can find a download link in the resources tab.
2. Make sure that you complete the main tunnel before you speedrun, as you will have no cutscenes.
3. Unlock the bunny, he is the standard character that everyone uses for speedrunning in MTNG+.
