South Carolina, USAOne of the WR's 4 rounds didnt get a Bonus Round. Is this RNG? I have over 100 attempts and have never once skipped a bonus round.
Since Xbox one version is faster than the N64 version wouldn't it be wise to separate the ladders with a variable?
Only negative is extra work on moderators which is a small price to pay in the amount of players it could bring to the community.
Speedrunning is about racing games on an even playground and I see nobody sinking time into learning a game where they automatically start with a deficit.
Nobody should have to buy a Xbox one to speedrun an N64 game, your community is essentially pay to win with the pay wall being a new gen console. Not good for bringing in new players.
I recently obtained a copy of conkers on n64, I only speedrun n64, and I have this same conversation in every SRC community. Definitely a topic worth discussion
Going for the record of most N64 WR's held by 1 person simultaneously. I've been speedrunning since I was a child, racing games with CRT's side by side or carrying around N64 carts just to pop them in and show off our times, but never started recording runs until VERY recently and boy am I glad I did. My GV-USB2 just arrived and my laptop is on the way! MY first console was a N64, I played other games prior but they were my older brothers, so that is why I am so fond of the N64! Excited to meet all these new people and see just how far I can go with my goal!

I was wondering if there is a way I could update the RiP page similar to Super Mario 64 where they have EMU runs as it's own section. RiP ran through emulation is much faster than on original hardware in many ways, before I became the Moderator they had EMU runs hid by default but that made some players not even want to invest time into the game because "what are we working for" so I currently have them shown but would like to have them split into their own sections not hidden behind a drop box.

Leaderboard is all wii u. What about the people on N64? SM64 has emu and N64 categories and the route very rarely changes between the 2. The route on DK64 does change between wii u and n64 so I feel like another category would only give us more ways to play the game we love!
Just a thought from a practicing dk64 runner who is bummed there is no n64 only ladder.
