Heya! I've been wondering if there was a way to make the game open in windowed mode by default, since for the speedrun I'm just deleting the MoM savefile folder in the documents, and as I open the game again, it creates a brand new one. That brand new one is always in fullscreen by default and because of that I can't use Livesplit (I have to alt tab to use it).

What we found out is that I could keep the "systemBackup.inf" files in the documents folder with the savefile of the game, and just delete the folder with the random numbers. Doing that kept my settings from the other file, which means the resolution, windowed mode, but as well it kept the attack button set to B ( because when I play I change the attack button to B ). Also because of that the "config" option is now accessible from the start in the main menu.

This turns into a question, can this be allowed on a speedrun?

Basically because of that I don't need to waste time after destiny island to change the attack button to B. The "Guest Characters" option stays on "ON" anyway, so that needs to be changed anyway after destiny island.

I can always just leave the default attack button on A, and just change it myself after destiny island, which will mean the only difference will be the resolution of the game and the windowed mode.
