I dunno if you are open to new category suggestions, but since I didn't found informations on this topic (and since this game doesn't have a Discord server where I can ask my question), I wanted to suggest a new category:

The Lucky Cat% (or Laser%, it depend on you):

The goal of the category is simple, get the Laser weapon as fast as possible. (the timer start at the beginning of the 1st level and end at the 1st frame of your plane obtaining the laser (when the word "Laser" appear on the bottem left part of the screen))

I used the IGT of the game in the version of Capcom Arcade Stadium to mesure my time.

And if you are ok for creating this new category, I would be happy to be the 1st one to submit a time for this new category:

I thought that this category could be interesting to speedrun since the Lucky Cat is a very rare item that appears randomely and teleport itself on the screen before dissapering, which could add an interestin challenge for this game and the speedun community around it. :)

What do you think of my proposition? Are you interested in the creation of a new category for this game?

Note: I don't know if the Lucky Cat appears on the NES version of the game so my initial suggestion work only for the Arcade version of the game, but if it also appears on NES, maybe we could extand the category idea so NES players could submit there run too. What do you think?

Hello everyone, it's actually my first post ever on this website. ^^

For the few persones who're weren't aware of the recent news about this game, Nintendo has officially ended their services on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U which mean that this game isn't avaliable to play since it's need thoes services to actually work.

That's also mean that everyone who have the current WR in any categories of this game could considere that they got a "Final WR" since it's impossible to emulate the game and since the game weren't ported to another plateform.

Personally I wanted to thanks the current moderator team @SkittlesCat (thanks for the verification of my last run. :) ) and @Jaypin88 :) But I also wanted to thanks all the former moderators who were part of the mod team and verified my previous runs. ^^

Finally, I also wanted to ask 2 last questions for the mod teams about my 3 last runs awaiting verification (all of them in the Free Play mode):

1- For my "[WR] Any% - Free Play" run, if I got more than 1 badge, could this run still be considered as a Any% run or should I had to submit this run into another category?

And 2- When we have to choose a date when we submitting the run, I actually put the date where the video were recorded, but since the run were made 1 or 2 years ago, I wanted to know, did the mod team recieve a notification of a run awating verification even if the date were years before? (I didn't know much about verification process and sometime it took me lot of time to submit a run sometime. ^^' )

And... That's it. :) Once again, I wanted to thanks you for all your work on this game and community, and I wanted to wish to everyone into this community a good continuation into there respective career and life too. :)

And farewell Nintendo Badge Arcade, you were a good little game where we came to waste money on little badges to customize our homescreen & You gave me good memories and I wanted to thanks you here for the fun time I had on this game. :)
