So if I'm trying to talk to a mod, and they haven't been online for over 2 months, what do I do?

(I want to talk to them about adding a new Speedrun Category to Don't Starve, where you have to kill Wilson as fast as possible without using Darkness.)

So I have basically no gear for screen capturing, but I'd like to try speedrunning. Am I able to just, like, record it off my phone, and then post the video? Or does it depend on the mod?
