I intend on running this game as soon as I finish all of the endings in my normal playthrough, but I have a question regarding homebrewed consoles. I play all of my DS games on a homebrewed New 2DS XL that uses Twilight Menu for the DS games, and I don’t know which categories would fit for that, as it isn’t original cartridge, but it isn’t being played on an emulator like MelonDS. I’d imagine load times would be the predominant factor as they are for Professor Layton speedruns but I’m not fully sure. Any help or input on this would be appreciated!

My only issue with that is that the game is extremely inactive so I’m not fully sure who to reach out to, or if anyone is even available.

I’ve been learning speedruns for the DS games in the Professor Layton series (so far I’ve completed runs in Diabolical Box and Unwound Future). However, I play on a homebrewed 2DS (no cheats or anything like that, just having the games digitally). I was wondering if that would still be listed under “emulator” or if there’s another subcat for it. I know some DS games have a “flash cartridge” category but I don’t know if that applies here.
