You wont have to worry about quick skips for long though, the IGT should be making the time between each level obsolete! Just need to wait until the update!
Technically, when the update comes out, we will be using the IGT which will get rid of the time between each level, so a Glitchless 49 Levels will not necessarily be needed. I am unsure what other glitches you are talking about, but height glitch and level skip are both banned in 49 levels already. I think wall% might be quite interesting.
Level one doesn't have jumppads how is it impossible?
Low jumppad% sounds like a great idea for a challenge run, but not necessarily for a speedrun. Avoiding the jumppads means that every level is going to be quite linear in how you play it. Jump up, or jump right.
And if that were to be implemented, it would be useful if runs using frame by frame were distinguishable from real runs. Maybe by putting up some sort of logo on the side? Also I just remembered something. Is there a way to select a level that you want to play?
I can't think of anything else to add other than the Speedrun mode personally! I guess it would be nice to have some sort of frame by frame tool so that we can figure out the most optimal way to complete a level!
I have also just found out that you can reset using the glitch to get to a certain level number, reset the tab and then be instantly transported to that level. Would it be allowed to use that in Any% or should that be included in rules, as it does satisfy the two requirements of starting and getting the crown.
When you reset after completing a level, the counter for how many levels you have cleared goes up. This causes skins for each world to be put out of place, meaning that you could complete world one with the final level skin on. My idea was to complete the Any% run, but the background must always be world one. This would require a lot of resetting at the end of the level though, so possibly a 98 level run would work.
