One issue (not sure if its ever been mentioned) that was mentioned to me at one point by a mod (could be fixed now?) Is that runs appear newest first. So if someone submits a run and then 100 people submit after them, their run appears at the bottom of the list. This is probably the reason it takes soo long for a run to be verified for some people. A simple fix for this would be just have all mods go to the bottom of the list instead of verifying whatever is at the top. I may be wrong, but why not try it.
