diamonds and enchanted apples are the most valuable things you could get but those aren’t super common looting books could be useful if you can get one but you do need a lot of iron for that maybe shipwrecks and buried treasure could help with that but again, SUPER rare

temples are usually not super useful but if they’re close by they don’t really take too much time to loot so why not though it’s not really a “strat”, more of like a pit stop for gas before a long road trip tbh ... idk why that was the analogy I came up with but ok

ummm, you could also just get Java if you really want the F3 menu, since it’s more useful there anyways, but I could understand hardware limitations too

technically you can e-ray using this add on , it’s just a very primitive version of it but I think it’s important to note that it would be an unfair advantage for PC and mobile players that can download it, since some console players cannot (I believe Xbox and PS4/5 can do it with some workarounds, but the Switch can’t do it whatsoever) I’m a Switch player, and any categories that involve data packs or downloads, I can’t run (ex. Icarus or Perfect RNG)

so I don’t think it would make sense to add, though it would be pretty cool to experiment with, maybe under the unofficial category extensions it could be added just to see the hypothetical time saves the F3 menu could bring to Bedrock if it was a vanilla feature

oh ok my bad I was not aware it was an actual rule I wish any seed was allowed because I feel like a set seed should just be any seed you’ve practiced before but I guess that’s not a huge deal

usually the default set seed is the most optimized but if there’s another seed that is also pretty good, I don’t see why you shouldn’t try it out

The Switch is just super weak hardware wise

I’m impressed it even works well with Minecraft lol I have some minor lag every once in a while but I only really mind the long load screen

I play on Switch and I was wanting to play some glitched runs, but for some reason my game takes around 5-10 minutes to load fairly consistently, making doing the dupes not that helpful.

Are there any other known dupes that I can use that are also easy to do? I’m on 1.17.10 for reference.

If not, does anyone know how I can make my game load in faster so I can actually play these categories? The extremely slow load times are pretty annoying in general especially if I don’t have hours to grind runs :/

You would not be able to use it during a run, but I suppose it’s probably fine if you’re putting in a seed for Set Seed or something. Just don’t use the touchscreen during the run and I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine :) There’s information in the rules if you’re still unsure. Should be under ‘touchscreen glitch’ or something similar.

I just got a Kill Wither RSG run a few days ago and it was pretty slow so I wanted to beat it. As I kind of expected, it turns out getting a good run on it is pretty hard since fortresses are rare and skulls gave low chances of dropping lol

wondering if there’s any known seeds that have a ruined portal with looting II or III somewhat close to spawn in 1.17.2? I’m sure it’s probably hard to find but it’d be nice to be able to run the category I’m on console and can’t downgrade versions sadly.

just in case you still don’t have the SSG seed, it’s 564030617 I’d recommend scouting it beforehand just because the you need to loot the second blacksmith to get the iron pickaxe but maybe the loot is different for you

I just deal with it because I payed for Nintendo Switch Online and I want to actually play online with people lol I like me my skywars and there’ll be a new SSG seed for 1.17 eventually I’m sure so I’ll sacrifice for now. The community is pretty good at finding those kinds of seeds. I’m not gonna update to 1.18 though because that looks like absolute hell to run.

not super lucky seed, good execution wouldn’t be surprised if it’s legit since it’s not a massive cut to the current wr if he faked it, he probably would’ve tried to get a faster time but idk I doubt it’s fake
