As we all know, part of this game is renaming save files and hoping the game saved.

I've noticed in some of my runs, after beating the final dungeon of the week even if I wait 10 seconds to rename my save (like it seems WR does) sometimes the game will not save the fact that I have the tablet, so I typically wait about 20-30 seconds and hope.

While I know the ~25 seconds is less compared to getting it from the thief, if it take the time hit to get to the thief, grab the tablet (even though I've already paid the time to clear the dungeon) is the run still considered a valid run for Any% All 4 weeks? or is it invalid since he also gives you items we don't grab on the route (such as shield)?

Personally, the ability to acquire items outside of the normal route tells me this invalidates the run.
