Edit: The absolute geniuses at ELO decided to host this site on machines running the insecure Windows Server OS. So actually being a newline might break something (assuming the site was coded by a monkey) since Windows uses \r\n instead of \n

It's good to see that you've recognised your behaviour though. While it was never to the extent that you did it, I remember I did similar things when I first joined this site, frequently requesting random mobile games from the App Store just so I could look cool or important or something. I have since left moderating all of them (except Timberman because I actually play that game). I think this kind of behaviour is relatively normal in new younger (as in age) speedrunners.

Social media and the internet is a cancer if not properly contained. Don't let it affect your personal life. People on the internet are in most cases just text on a screen and you shouldn't hesitate to just block us all out and focus on the real world.

Lining up controller inputs in a Wii/Gamecube game, most of which are 3d games with complex physics would be quite challenging. This is infinitely more safe than not requiring it.

I actually used to have a second account so that I could better organize my profile. Runs I cared about when on this one while random one-tries on mobile games when on my throwaway. I have since deleted it after finding out it was against the rules though.

Now though we are all in ELOs hands, I don’t know how I feel about that.
