What is this?

A save file that has 100% (I think?) of unlockables unlocked. This includes FREE PLAY for Story Mode!

What do I do with it?

0. Backup your current save data if you want to keep it. This save file overwrites ALL THE PROFILES in your game because they aren't separated out into files.

1. Windows Key + R, or go to Run
2. Go to %appdata%
3. Go to the Sega Folder
4. Backup this Typing of the Dead II folder if you want a backup
5. Go to Typing of the Dead II
6. Overwrite the USER.BIN file there with the USER.BIN file in this download.
7. In-game, go to Game Start, not Quick Play -- even if you want to change options, go to Game Start first!
8. Select "TypeFastYo", select Hai/Yes, keep doing this until you, uh, "log in" for lack of a better term

To change you equipped gear: Personal => Player Status => Item Equip

To change your options (Free Play?), go to the Options menu after signing in

To change the profile name...use Cheat Engine and good luck (or you can ping me on Twitter or something and I'll try to walk you through it, it's not THAT hard but it is a little tricky)

To change the profile birthday/age... shrug I couldn't figure that out

What does this unlock?

So many things!

• Impossible high scores for story mode -- though because of the comparison table, I don't think this helps.

• Game Modes and Options, including:

  • Very Easy through Very Hard modes unlocked (or are these always unlocked?)
  • 1, 3, 9, or "Free Play" Credits in Story Mode (FREE PLAY!!!)
  • Various Boss, Vs., Tutorial, Training, and other modes.

• Equippable Items unlocked (new set every credit)

  • Purple Bottle / Sulfuric Acid / One-Target KO
  • Molotov / Screen Clear
  • Pink Medicine / Invuln
  • Needle/Injection / Sedative (per machine translation) / I believe this lower difficulty temporarily
  • Stopwatch / Slow down time temporarily
  • Godhands / Faceroll Keys To Win

• All Cosmetic-only Backpacks:

  • Default Dreamcast
  • Wok and Ladle
  • Koala
  • Panda
  • Cloak/Cape
  • Monkey Tail
  • Fishing Rod
  • Big Tuna

• Backpacks with Sound Effect Changes:

  • A Hand-and-a-half sized sword Sword/slashing noises replace gunshots
  • Classic/Retro Wall Telephone -- Dial Tones replace gunshots
  • Acoustic Guitar - Guitar strumming replaces gunshots

• Backpacks with Bonus Items

  • Rucksack, starts with First-Aid Kit
  • Jetpack (Chattini-approved), starts with Two Stopwatches
  • Angel Wings (Two of them, even), start with 3 First-Aid Kits
  • A small fridge (yeah), starts with 2 First-Aid Kits
  • Metal Trash Can -- Implies there's a chance you can recycle used items; the chance is relatively low over my low sample size.
  • Big clock on your back -- Start with 1x Stopwatch
  • Turtle Shell -- Start with 2 First-Aid Kits
  • Bomb -- Start with 2 Molotovs
  • Fire Extinguisher -- Start with 1 Molotov
