here I will explain depending on the OS (Window & Mac) & the game version how to change dosbox config and what field useful to change. I know there are some wiki out of here that explains everything but I always find it long to go through or to clearly understand them sometimes

open the config file:
open ~/Library/Preferences/DOSBox\ 0.74-3-1\ Preferences
What to change
- aspect: set to false in order to have the right aspect ratio and not 3:4
