Greetings and Vast everyone. Prierè here with a big discovery that i have come across and theorized prior.

I come at you today with Board Generation Manipulation. Until today now, we have been stuck with RNG based boards which can sometimes take along  time to clear (up to a minute in later levels). Now you can have more pathways, and better, more consistent styles of boards.

Here's how it works. 

First: you need controllers in both ports. 
second: you need to input UP + Start at the title screen on the second controller and then hit start on controller 1 to get into the menu (this activates the ability to manipulate the Board RNG).

Here are the different manipulation types and inputs you do for them on controller port 2

Right + R                          = board stack mostly on right

Right + L                          = board stack mostly on left

Down or Left+ R or L       = board stack most on bottom and center

Up or Left+ R or L            = board stack mostly on top and center

Right + A or B + R            = board stack mostly right and slight well on the left

Right + A or B + L             = board mostly on left and slight well on the right

Down + A or B + L or R     = board mostly on center and bottom and a slight well on either left or right (always inverse of L and R buttons)

Up + A or B + L or R         = board mostly on center and top and a slight well on either left or right ( always inverse of the L and R buttons)




From here it's piece manipulation based on what you input and hold on controller port 2 at the start of each level

Up + Select or Start         = higher probability of starting with a double blue tile tetrimino

Down + Select or Start     = higher probability of starting with a double pink tile tetrimino

Right + Select or Start      = higher probability of starting with a double yellow tile tetrimino

Left + Select or start         = higher probability of starting with a solid/unsplit tetrimino

L + R + Y + Select or Start  = higher probability of starting with a 2-way split tetrimino

L + R + X + Select or Start = higher probability of starting with a 3-way split tetrimino


Currently i am still exploring this unknown, if any more results come up please let me know here.

Side Note: pressing Up and Start at the beginning of each level on port 1 will increase the speed of the tiles clearing ever so slightly.

Side Note 2: Pressing any of the above combinations must be done at each level before port 1 enters the level.

Side Note 3: this sometimes does not work if input at certain frames.
