That is also a good idea, from what I've seen, there are normally lots of IL in alot of Speedrun.com pages. The Speedrun starts when you press enter for the character name when you are trying to get the first checkpoint. As soon as you touch the first checkpoint the Speedrun ends. Then to do first checkpoint to second checkpoint, the Speedrun starts when you press enter on Continue Game. This is the same all the way up to the sixth checkpoint. Then the sixth checkpoint to the end, Speedrun starts when you press Continue Game, and ends when you hit the checkpoint.
You have to have video evidence of getting the checkpoint and you can't do anything past the checkpoint, for example doing the Terminals that unlock the test as that would be for the Second checkpoint to the third checkpoint. You need video evidence to prove that you haven't done anything else past it.
You also can't have a glove when you start the Speedrun, this includes Handcuff. You can add gloves right after the Speedrun Starts. This is so you can't get a head start on the Speedrun.
I like both of these IL ideas. Having multiple IL will mean that different people can hold more World Records. (and also I get to have way more content on YouTube) Hopefully Skullz2000 likes both of these ideas. I like it! Make sure to like all of these posts if you like the ideas! ye I like that idea, but I don't think we should do the one from start to the first check point, as it would be literally just walking
That is true, but in some speedruns look at Minecraft Classic for example. Some of the Speedruns are jokes, like breaking dirt. Which has about 50 people with the world record tie. Also it might be cool to see how optimized people can do it. Like who can do the sharpest turns. I am fine though if Start to checkpoint 1 doesn't make the cut. Although if it did it would be a freebie and encourage those to play the whole game and it would fit well with the whole section.
