So i was just messing around to warm up for a run and on 1-3 i was big and i broke the block that was one of from the ceiling, a duck and jumped up to the block, let go of down, then jumped. I clipped through. hes a screenshot : https://imgur.com/8J04nJK

if you could get it conisitently it might work, you do need to get the cheese EDIT: i found similar clips in 2-3, and 3-3

Yeah, you can clip through the ceiling on all of the castle levels. You can clip through pretty much any ceiling in the game as long as Bernie can jump high enough and it's not a single block wide.

I don't think it would save time at the world record level, plus you would lose time getting the powerup

I made a video about how to get the castle clip more consistent, I also don’t think it would save time for a world record but I’m making this more for people who are just getting into the SBW community. It would definitely save time on my pb and maybe for some other slower timed runners in the community. Yknow just something to boost them up a little.

It's a neat trick for people who haven't learned the pathing through the castles, for sure. It's pretty straightforward to run through all four castles without slowing down, so as you guessed, this is much slower than the optimal routing.

One cool thing is that a version of this trick is now used in the All Coins speedrun. It's possible to hit the fist (invincibility) powerup box and pick it up at the same time from below.
