Hello all. Just a quick one but how would people feel with posting the IL speedruns here? Would be interesting I suppose and it wouldn't just be "fastest time stays on the site" due to the way this site keeps your run history/the way srb2.org keeps its run history.
Not a bad idea, even though I think it would be more simple to post them on the "official SRB2 Records tracker". There's no yet place to discuss the records there though. This site could fix it, I guess?
Great, now I have to go video all my vanilla SRB2 times as well. I better get busy on that! Also, the official records tracker allows the submission of replays, which require less data usage than a video. But a video is still cool, nonetheless. The official tracker also lists the top scores for each level, character, and district.
I don't mind posting my ILs here, personally.
Yeah, obviously this site isn't going to have rings and score, I mean it could, but defeat the purpose. But I really did like the idea of giving this to TMR as it was mentioned by a few people that there's no list for these runs.
Forget rings and points. Here, we save frames, not collectibles.
Really, all I have to do is make a video of my previous Time Attacks. I like this website in particular, because it has the forum here for discussing how to make a route faster, how to improve one's strat, combine strats, etc.
Yeah and it's open to all without a really tedious forum to go through. I like it here and hope it becomes good grounds for learning whenever anyone aims to run the game :)
I second this. As an IL runner for other games I am VERY interested in doing IL's for this game whether they get hosted on SR.com or not. It would be nice to have them on the leader boards though, plus it may even increase the activity of the game as a whole.
These haven't been added yet as we are trying to make contact with the mods of the game to have them added here. There is a board already at http://records.srb2.org/ where the original mods of the page have held the IL boards so if needed, you can submit there. In the meantime, there's no point adding if they aren't communicating back and they've made every effort to keep that page running as well as they could which indicates they don't want a shift in leaderboards.
Hello everybody,
We're sure you have seen the unfortunate news that Twitch is introducing a new limit on how many Highlights you can have saved on your channel. This makes Twitch a very unreliable storage spot for run submissions so will therefore not be allowed any longer for submitting to this
