Since “Google Snake” is mobile is it valid to submit a mobile screen recording of the run?
Sorry, mobile speedruns are not accepted. The speedrun rules say "This is due to the different proportions of the board, which may give some runs an unfair advantage over others".
The boards vary for different devices. For example a 11" tablet would have a difference in size compared to 4.7" or 6" phone.
if we would add mobile, we would need to add a ton of different categories for each board size cause of different phone and tablet sizes. This is not something we wanna do as of this moment
The mod team are happy to announce that all slow runs have officially been moved from Category Extensions to the Base Game, meaning if you want to submit a slow speed run, you'll now need to submit to the Base Game, not Category Extensions.
