There are 18 secret stars. I tried a secret star run on my own and got an hour with a game over at the end(im not that good). It seems like a better idea then the luigi rescue becuase the whole game is included, not just the beginning few galaxies.
Ok, so I know this forum has been dead for a while, but I'd like to ask the mods to respond or at least say if there's a possibility new categories may be allowed. I believe many great ideas have been presented here and I'd at least like some clearance on whether or not this is a possibility, because if it is, I will definitely do some runs and submit them here. Thanks.
I would suggest for each "level" (galaxy) that there is a miscellaneous tab or its own page for each star in the galaxy.
Or a category for each dome, like terrace or Fountain categories, Any% or 100% for each dome
Might try and run some secret stars runs on stream this evening, let's see if I can get this rolling. Tbh it has that "easy controllable" factor, peculiar routing and spans the game, so I see this as a promising candidate à la Green Stars for SMG2.
