There are a few categories of "versions" that are relevant for runs. You can check your version by going to the settings menu and toggling the speedrun timer off. The version will be displayed in the top right. If in doubt, choose "Current" when submitting a run.

Each version is distinct because of different gameplay mechanics or changes in the level generation algorithm.

Sorted by most recent:

"Current"

• All versions since the Forever Forge patch in January 2024 (>= v6730.1812.1952.152).

"Pre-Forever Forge"

• All version from the Android/iOS release in April 2023 until the Forever Forge patch in January 2024 (>= v6480.1704.1895.145, < v6730.1812.1952.152)

"Pre-Mobile Release"

• All versions from the initial Steam release in Jan 2022 until the Android/iOS release in April 2023 (>= v6310.1549.1820.145, < v6480.1704.1895.145).

"Pre-Steam Release"

• All versions from when the in game speedrun timer was added and the game was released on Steam (>= v6201.1266.1561.138, < v6310.1549.1820.145).

"Legacy"

• All versions from the initial launch of the game in Dec 2020 until the in game speedrun timer was added (< v6201.1266.1561.138). No longer accepting runs for this version, it exists on leaderboard solely for historical reasons in the Any% Legacy category.
