It has been decided in favour of creating new subcategories for the board that revolve allow this this glitch and to preserve our current boards as they are now without this glitch. Variables won by a majority. 20 to ban this trick. 43 to add it as a variable similar to PC and console are now. 1 to allow it as is.
With the new subcategories the no time skip variable will be default so if you visit speedrun.com and search The Simpsons: Hit & Run you will see the non-time skip category first.
It has been decided that JoyToKey is allowed to use this exploit, you can set it up by using an unmapped button on your controller and setting it to the left mouse button. The mod team will not be able to verify that you used your actual mouse instead of JoyToKey so everyone will be able to do this.
The mod team will be working the next day or two to add these variables to the main board as well as the category extensions.
