A Specter Speedrunner's Guide

If you're new to Specter Speedrunning, This video should help you out!
As an experienced runner of this game, I thought I'd give some newcomers information!

Timer starts when you open the van door to start the ghost hunt!
Timer ends when the timer to leave reaches 0! (Not when you get teleported like before.)

You MUST start in the van!
You MUST have game audio in your video!

How to get clues:
(You need at least two of these to leave!)

21 - 10 Celsius is considered normal temperature. 5-0 Celsius is where the ghost room is. Anything below 0 Celsius qualifies as freezing temperature evidence, which also can be determined by your breath.

EMF 1 - Default
EMF 2 - Ghost's Favorite Room
EMF 3 - Ghost Activity
EMF 4 - Ghost Appearing/Hunt Phase
EMF 5 - Evidence, you must be near a random event with a ghost that creates EMF 5 reading.

Orbs can be found by using the ghost goggles, and looking in the ghost room. They will spawn randomly, and only for a few seconds, so you may have to look for a while! 
(Orbs are usually too slow for Speedruns.)

Fingerprints can be found on windows or light switches in the ghost room. If you hear knocking, or the lights are turned on/off by ghost, check for fingerprints!

Identify the ghost room, and turn the spirit box on inside. You can hold it, or drop it, as long as it's turned on and you're inside the room. Make sure the rooms lights are out. Ask questions.
(Spirit Box spam: Are you here? Where are you? Can you turn on the lights?)

Place a book down and wait for the ghost to write in it.
(Writing is usually too slow for Speedruns.)

No wasting time

1. Don't waste a single time every time counts so
 if you have the evidence you need to put it in
 while walking so you don't waste time 

2. Keep moving around so the ghost has a lower
Chance of attacking just like in me and my
Friend Speed run

3. Pick specific items that can help you Identify
whether the ghost is in that room such as
Spirit box, Temperature, EMF, And Spirit Goggles 

4. if you have a friend that is helping you ill prefer
you split up if its a big map

5. Buy useful stuff like spirit box due to hard mode
The spirit goggles is useless and doesn't work on that 
mode for some reason and if you have the goggles
You can use it to see instead or just to see orbs 

6. Don't waste your inventory on just getting flashlight
and a goggles bad choice if you wanna speed run it
you might wanna just take the goggles instead of
the flashlight

Have fun beating the world record
