I think there should be a rule that would obligate to use two timers. One for "Time with loads" and one for "Time without loads". The reasoning is that it's easy to splice the run if you only use one timer that you pause yourself. Would love to hear others ideas about this.

The time with loads does not matter and I don't exactly care about splices if it's in between each ending (but not during the endings themselves)

Also I (and the other moderators) retime the runs manually to pause the frame an ending is got and resumed when the start button is clicked.

Splicing is a huge issue in almost every speedrun category, I will admit that. But for this game, I don't see the issue if it's mainly just to make the run video shorter. As long as neither the start button nor the ending screen are cut out, or a splice is made during an ending, I think it's okay.

I'll allow it...barely. Just do not splice while you are trying to get an ending.

By the way I find it a bit unfair to make leaderboards based on time with loads because it basically comes down to "who has a better PC/Phone" Skill doesn't matter if you're going at 10 frames per second and the game takes forever to reload

Christmas Update

since there was a huge update for Christmas this year, i've gone ahead and added all of the new SubEndings, along with the Christmas Ending 2, and the True Christmas Ending.

as stated by Groovy, however, neither of these count as the 53rd ending, and so the latter two endings will instead be listed
