--GUIDE--

Once again just like in G.A.B.O.S, though not for a similar reason, you will want to pause the game on initialisation. This is so you can ensure the very first thing you do is find the Storage building and designate it to be Visitation with as many Visitation Chairs as you can fit. Make sure to go into the deployment screen and change it from Staff Only to Shared. This completes a later objective, but it also ensures that you have the most possible hours for families to visit your prison. Visitation only runs from 9 AM to 9 PM, and new families are generated every in game hour, so you want to bank on as many coming to visit your prison as you can before the 'Set up a better visitation service' objective comes about. Every time the clock ticks past 9 PM and you don't have enough visitors you waste about 150 seconds waiting for it to become 9 AM again.

Assigning an export zone on the right hand side of the road somewhere is a good idea at this stage for micro level menuing optimisation, but really you can do it at any time before you build the 40/80 cell block.

Speaking of the cell block, use the quick build menu to build yourself 26 cells in the right hand area, spamming workers wherever possible. While you only need 26 extra cells now, you will need an extra 54 later on. Prioritise getting your cell count up to 40 first however, because you will have time later to build the extra cells. You don't need to provide water or electricity to the cells for this objective, or any of the non (OPTIONAL) objectives in fact, so don't worry about utilities.

Designate a long building anywhere in the right hand zone as well, making it at least 35 long and 8 wide, though don't worry if you designate it longer. You also want to start researching Prison Labor and Education, and when Prison Labor is completed you want to assign 3 prisoners to work in the Kitchen. When Education is completed immediatly start running the programs Foundation Education and Spiritual Guidance. Once again they don't need to actually run for the sake of the non (OPTIONAL) objectives. You just need to start them.

Designate a yard in the right hand area when you are able, and throw 5 Phone Booths in both yards. It must be 5 in both. You can't just put 10 in one. When the long room is finished quickly build a shower that consists of a room as long as the building and any width between 1 and 3. It needs at least 1 shower head.

If you're fast enough then you should still be waiting for the next prison intake to arrive, so while you wait you need to build a Workshop (8 wide and 6 high), a Classroom (5 x 6), a Chapel (6 x 6), and a Mail Room (7 x 6). Assign prisoners to work in both the Workshop and the Mail Room. If you haven't built the extra cells yet then do it now. Depending on how good the RNG was for your family visitations then it shouldn't lose you time to do it now. When the intake does come and the objective is completed, make sure to lower your intake to 10 prisoners a day. Don't do it beforehand, else the prisoner intake doesn't count.

With all that out of the way you should be good to move on. Click on the polaroid situated in the cell with the story prisoner in it and then you are up to Bootstraps.
