MiphaSR and I seemed to agree on these:

• On day 1, start timing when you cancel the cutscene at the start
• Days 4-5, start timing when you click to dismiss the intro summary
• Days 1-4, stop timing when you click logout
• Day 5, stop timing when you get the ending fade
