...I couldn't pass up on an "easy" 6-8 seconds I found in the non-human TAS I'm making.

I'm actually kinda mad at myself for not trying this in my last round of attempts. I was aware a delay would save time but assumed the time save for the delay would be rendered moot having to route for human feasible RNG and around the Witch group in RTA. What forced me to test the delay route out was seeing the Japanese Fireseal TAS use inefficient RNG routing and STILL save a ton of time.

After seeing that, I stopped my TAS work for a bit, tried it out in save state testing, and realized I really wanted to be the first to get this in a run.

Once again this is a fully manipulated run. I use the in game soft reset (L + R + Select + Start) to better time my manipulation. At this point though I'm relying on music cues for the card manip rather than the timer, I'm finding it's easier. I suck at actually hitting the in game reset, partly because my select button is a little sticky.

I ditched the lengthy delay and went for an earlier seed now that I'm RELATIVELY okay with inputting Fireseal in Japanese now. The only really hard part other than the cards is the move to the castle - there's about 2-3 pixels where I get the full manipulation and if I go too far it should still be favorable. Got the full here though!

Well... 700 attempts later and I got it I should say. Using this exact setup, it's possible to save another 4-5 seconds on mostly in map lag and maybe some tighter movement and menuing. The 2:40 barrier could possibly be broken assuming this, but I doubt it. My current non-human TAS sits at 2:31 ( not done - still being optimized ATM) only due to some impossible for humans movement.

The exact starting seed I used is T1-221, T2-6.
