Analog vs Digital Inputs:

As originally discovered by Broran01, analog inputs (using analog sticks for steering and throttle) allows for more control and higher steering through the corners over digital (using the d-pad for steering and cross throttle.)

Testing for this was originally done at Charlotte, where in my run with digital inputs, you'll see me dive bomb into the corner and only brake so I don't hit the wall, quickly turn the car and send it full throttle through the rest of the turn. This slows me down to around 170 before going back to 211. The best I could do on digital was a 39.3. Broran discovered that with analog controls, not only can you can you make the turn far much easier, but you can do so maintaining a speed of 195-200 through the entire turn, allowing him to get runs in the upper 38s.

Later testing was done on Atlanta and Bristol and it was discovered that analog saved about half a second over my previous digital PB at Atlanta. Bristol was different. Because of how short the track is, it is better to use digital inputs as the sensitivity for analog is too high to make the turns perfectly at full speed. The best I could do with analog was a 13.6 compared to the 13.1 that I got on digital.

It appears that all the ovals except for Bristol are better on Analog. Testing still needs to be made on the road courses.
