what are the rules for tournament edition i heard about some char like storm and sentinel been banned or some XD
Your friend should read the game and category rules before starting. Timer must be in video.
- Load time is part of run time.
- Tournament Setting runs MUST show settings before or after run
- Read the rules for each category.
- Runners are responsible for reading the rules.
- Please submit on YouTube or Twitch (If twitch shows sub required to view, run will be rejected.)
In the tournament category it states all characters must be unlocked. Game Options Must Be:
(a) Beat Arcade Mode as fast as possible.
(b) Difficulty: 8 Hardest
(c) Damage: 2
(d) Speed: Turbo
(e)Timer: 99
Permitted Ports: -MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics -Arcade [Noami] (Fightcade2, NullDC, BearDC) -Sega Dreamcast (GDEMU disallowed for now) -PS2 and XBOX (Loading off HDD disallowed for now) -PSN and XBLA downloads
Emulators: -Use of DC or PS2 emulators is permitted for the time being.
Special Rules:
(1) The timer starts when the 3rd assist is chosen and stops when the final blow is struck on Abyss' 3rd form.
(2) Continues are permitted.
(3) All characters must be unlocked. (Colors don't matter)
(4) Duplicate characters are NOT allowed.
(5) Show difficulty in the options before or after run
(6) No 1 button specials allowed.
There are currently no banned characters unless they are duplicate characters. For example you can't pick 2 cables or 2 magnetos. But the different wolverines bone and adimantium are okay.
