I've been trying to find a way to record a run, but I don't have a suitable way to record the whole thing, and since I only have the 3DS version at the moment recording my screen is out of the question. Until the game goes on sale on Steam; is it okay to submit a run of the game on an emulator?

It could, but i'm not sure 3ds emulator can emulate eshop games.

Also, technically I would ask for a video only when claiming to be world record, but i prefer to see what everybody does in their run.

Proof of legit run is always a big problem in this game because of the 3ds version..

Yeah, I understand. I'm researching emulators right now, and it looks like they might be able to do so, I'll get back to you on that though.
