Formatting submissions with multiple videos for proof

Hey, I've seen this a lot across the board and thought I'd share the magic that makes submissions show up correctly.

In the **Video link** segment you can have up to 5 videos show up with their embeds. Same goes for the **Description**

**Video link:** In this you need to separate the links with a double space, otherwise every 2nd link will only show up as the link instead of the embed you want.

**Description:** Here you only need to put a link per line. Embeds here won't look as pretty as they do in the Video link segment but its good enough if you ran out of space because too many videos or its a different version of the same thing (say YouTube video for Video link, Twitch VOD for Description).

**Breaking the limit of 5 videos per section:** As far as I can tell you can actually get around that limit with using videos from different sites, I haven't done any testing on that but this run here shows what I mean, if you really have that many segments then this might be the way to go for you: https://www.speedrun.com/multimario/run/ydgo3eqy

The 120 route doesn't mention a beginner option with choosing to do 100s with poles in DDD. For that, just move DDD100 with reds to after getting Fire Sea done. Getting the sub star unlockes the poles. Otherwise all routes have as many beginner options as possible with very detailed videos and guides.

SMG Routes (Any% and 120 Stars)

#Any% "Pushback 2.1" Route (Easier Route): https://splits.io/7j80 | Made by @ro__money 

Description: This route is the same for both characters. This is a modified version of the Pushback II route that rearranges the Kitchen route for slightly faster star orders, penguin cycles in Beach Bowl 3 and S, and to make collecting starbits easier for Sweet Sweet.


#Any% No Battlerock Route (Fastest Route): https://splits.io/7ji9 | Made by @Alaeus, @xzRockin, @ro__money 

Description: This route is about 35 seconds faster than Pushback 2.1, and it trades Battlerock 2, 3, and C for Space Junk 3, Slingpod, and Ghostly 2. This route is EXTREMELY tight on starbits, so only do it if you are VERY confident in your starbit collection. If using 2P, get rid of Good Egg 3 and add Loopdeeloop after Honeyhive 3. The route is far more lenient with 2P. You can also make this change with the 3D All-Stars version, but it is still relatively tight. If you get Battlerock 1 OOB, collect starbits in Rolling Green and Beach Bowl 1. You can technically avoid starbits in Good Egg 2, but obviously that makes it much tighter. If using Mario, some of the starbit counts might have to be adjusted. Route made by Alaeus with adjustments by xzRockin and ro_money.

Description: Fastest 120 Star route as of 29 April 2020, Saves ~25 seconds over the "Kansas City Shuffle" route by reinstating Rolling Green tutorial skip and some faster observatory movement. Be aware that starbits are tight for 2P if you skip Slingpod grinding because Sweet Sweet is done immediately after Slingpod. REQUIRES 400 STAR BITS BY SLING POD, 13TH STAR IN

SMG/SMG2 - Guide on how to put a prepared save file on your Wii/WiiU

Credits go to @Claire for the guide. This was originally made for just SMG as an answer to a question in their forum, expanded to include SMG2 as a guide for our Multi Mario space.

First, download the save file and extract it. Make sure you take out the .bin file. Then, go to the root of your SD card. Once there, you'll see a folder called "private". If you don't see that folder, than make a new one and name it private. Inside of that folder, make sure there's a folder called "wii". Once again, if there is none, then make one. Then, inside of THAT, there will be a folder called "title", and if there is none-- you guessed it-- make one. Inside of that, you want to make a folder named one of 4 things:
If you're using the NTSC-U version (North American version), make the folder named "RMGE" ("SB4E" for SMG2)
If you're using the NTSC-J version (Japanese), make the folder named "RMGJ" ("SB4J" for SMG2)
If you're using the PAL version (European version), make the folder named "RMGP" ("SB4P" for SMG2)
For the Korean version of SMG, make the folder named "RMGK".
For the Chinese version of SMG2, make the folder named "SB4W".

Finally, move the save file (.bin) into that folder, and make sure the save file is named "data".

Then, put the SD card in your Wii/WiiU, go to the Wii menu, press the "Wii" button in the bottom left corner, press Save Data, go to the SD Card tab, and you'll see the SMG save. Just press that and click copy, and it'll be copied to your Wii save data and when you boot up the game, you'll have the file.
Note that if you already have SMG/SMG2 save data from the same region on your Wii/WiiU, you have to delete it before copying the save from your SD card.
When using the WiiU and homebrew to region-free load the game as VC, you may need to boot up the game after deleting the save to be able to copy the save over.

A modified and to my knowledge faster version of the Bramz route, made by SB. More recommended towards intermediate level than beginner.

Most people talk about Bramz' route when talking about beginner 120 routes. This sheet even includes a Glitchless route if you wanna consider going without knowledge into a SMS 120 run for say a 602 Race. If you need a more outdated version from 2018 in a different style, I converted this into a presentation similar to the style of SMO All Moons routes: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1-54HGMZAA6cfDicNjZEDQrtI5yBn3ooY3MSJaiLGeFc I use slightly different descriptions for blue coins, in any case I can recommend watching the runs. Feel free to copy my presentation and edit it to suit your style if you want to take this as your baseline for your route.

Using Subsplits for Multi Mario runs

As some of you might now, I personally like to use subsplits for Multi Mario runs. They give the advantage of segmenting the games of a run way clearer, allowing to show a timer for the game itself and stuff like that. So here goes a quick explainer on how to set that up:

To make a split a subsplit, just add a - in front of it, like this:

Example2

Now the segment would be called Example2, with both splits as subsplits for that segment. But you can give it custom names aswell! To give a segment a custom name, put these { } in front of the split name and put in your custom name in there:

{Example3}Example2

Now the segment is called Example3, with the splits still showing as Example1 and Example2 for that segment. Make sure you use the subsplits and not the normal splits in your Livesplit layout, otherwise the - and { } will show and all are just normal splits without any of the fancy stuff!

It's also recommended to have setup splits between each game, to accurately time each run of each game so you can go for more than just the overall run PB! Have fun and good luck with your runs!

If you left your timer running during the entire run, select RTA. If you took breaks and paused your timer at any point, select TA.

You can now submit runs to the 602 and 1862 leaderboards under the TA filter if you took breaks for sleep and paused the timer! Rules will be more in depth on the category pages on the leaderboard.
