Pirate Ship Hook Room (Stage 3)

The movement for this room is fairly precise to do optimally, and is cycle dependant, so it is important to be holding left from the moment you enter the room, to the moment you reach the door at the end. The cycle resets when leaving the room and re-entering, making this movement fairly easy to practice as well. Upon entering the room, hold left, and perform a full jump when Ronald's boot reaches the crack on the wall in the background, represented by the black curve in the Reference Image (Left). Following this jump, Ronald will land on the raised platform, at which time the player should perform a short jump (tapping the jump button) with a slight delay after landing and tap the scarf button immediatley. This second jump is fairly leniant. The reference point in the Left image on the raised platform is one of the later points in which you can perform the short jump to successfully grab the first hook, and provides a good visual cue. After Ronald propels off this first hook, be sure to remain holding left, and tap the scarf button again when you reach the far left of the second hook. As soon as you are off this hook, use the magic button to kill the enemy on the next platform. Once Ronald lands, continue to walk left until his boot touches the first pixel of water seen in the background (Right Reference Image). At this point, perform a full jump, and tap the scarf button shortly after the peak of your jump. This should propel Ronald off of the far left of the hook, toward the last hook, which you can grab by using the scarf in the mid-point of the decension. This should land Ronald on the last platform with the door if performed successfully. 

If you miss the last platform or get hit by the retracting hand, your jump at the crack of water at the previous platform was too early, If you miss the second to last hook, your jump at that point was too late. (Right Reference Image) There is a 3 frame window to jump and complete the room successfully at this point, the image shows the middle of the 3 frames.
