This is horrible. Horrible. We don't play to get to know all the fun little modes and shit. If you want to, fine. But this forces this. We can't be masters of driving or item usage anymore. It's now a mastery competition of fucking knowing which mode is faster. This requires test runs and shit. If someone beats my BKT using a different item set, for fucks sake, in my mind, they didn't beat me. what a lame chart. iff items should be separate. also, there's a glitch. if you click the 'filter' button under the misc. tab, it shows a list with the word "Items" over & over and over. there's also a 'show obsolete' button there which is weird because it's already in a Misc. category...

This is still a huge issue. No Items, Balanced, and Strategic runs are now considered the same category under Miscellaneous which is VERY wrong. Not sure if this was a change by the mods, or if it's a site bug, but the filters are NOT what should be used for this section. It worked a couple weeks ago, but broke just recently.

How the fuck has this not been fixed yet? This is legit unplayable. I've completely ceased my speedrun.com activity since this change. Not to be rude but at this point I kinda have to - how could such an idiotic, horrible, game-breaking, competition-ruining thing come into play? No community members were even asked about it

I already thought strategic/balanced items for misc cups weere going overboard now it's just completely a curse now. not even that but the drop down menu hasn't even been fixed it says sometyhing like

My items lightning cup run just got beaten by somebody using no items which made it say "Rhodechill your WR has been beaten".

How is that even the same competiton? If I LIKE items, I have to play a completely separete type of gameplay (itemless) just to compete? Again, this isn't a "see which mode is faster!" thing. It's a "see which player is faster" thing.

Another day with it impossible to compete correctly on speedrun.com in my favorite game. Cool!

Just use the fastest item type or bitch at Jcool on Discord or something.
