it's not difficult to increase your limit from 15 minutes to 12 hours, that should be more than enough to fit runs in at worst 2 parts.

This is always a thing when fighting anything in Monster Hunter, yes, it makes the time different a bit every time. But when you're equipped with good gear it's not making too much of a difference.

If you're playing MHG, you're playing MHG, not MH1. while they have the same content to a point, MHG & MH1 are seperate games.
