Why my Slime block move back my dispender ?

Hy mates, My son wanted to build this TNT canon: Looking at the TUTORIAL, it seemed simple. But when we activate the dispenser, the first piston pushes the slime block above the dispenser, and when it retracts, it pulls the dispenser with it, which slides over the repeater and breaks it. What did I miss that explains why the slime block pulls the dispenser? Thanks in advance for the explanation.

You may have used a sticky piston rather than a piston, if you are not aware, (and if you are than that’s ok I’ll still explain just in case) a piston pushes a block, then retracts itself, a sticky piston pushes a block, then when it retracts itself, and then pulls the block back with it. There are also blocks that cannot be pushed(I forget which ones), and for some blocks, there’s a limit on the number of blocks that can be pushed in a row. Also if you use a sticky piston to push a row of blocks, it will only retract the first block with itself.

So I try with a basic Piston : It push the slime but don't take it back once the button release, it stay onto the dispender now.

I think that in the tutorial, he uses a sticky piston with a slime block.

On bedrock edition slime is able to pull dispensers and other utility blocks. This is why the slime block pulls the dispenser back. I believe the video is on java.
