This guide will be split into two parts: The Board Game Section and The Mini Games.

Part I: The Board Game Section:

This game has four maps, Sweet Dreams, Amazing Rainforest, Amusement Park, and Haunted House (in that order). Each map has four sections, each varying in length, except for Haunted House, which has a few extra sections and a boss battle at the end. Each map has some sort of alternate path that can either send you forward or backward in some way. Since this game is styled like a board game (or Mario Party), there are specific spaces you can land on that have different uses. Those spaces are:

  • Blue with check mark: Checkpoint space (Useful in case you get warped back to checkpoint by a purple space)
  • Green: Awards you a random amount of minis ranging from 2-12
  • Red: Takes away an amount minis ranging from 2-10 (or more)
  • Orange: Safe space (nothing happens)
  • Yellow: Gives you the option to swap places with fellow players
  • Purple: Pretty much a roulette wheel in which landed on will make these happen: (Move forward/backward two spaces (Gain/lose a random amount of minis (Swap places with other player (Go back to a previous checkpoint
  • Light Blue: Initiates a mini game on the map (Crossing the rivers, avoiding arrows, etc.)
  • Spiral: Will warp you somewhere (forwards or backwards and sometimes bonus rooms)
  • Diamond: Allows you to select which path to take if given the option.

Minis are what the games keeps score of. At the end of each map, the player with the most amount of minis is declared the winner (similar to stars in Mario Party). Winning mini games and landing on green spaces will reward you minis. Collecting all minis on a map overworld mini game will reward you bonus minis.

Part II: The Mini Games

Mini games are triggered ever few turns and are as follows (in order of listing):

  • M&M Catching: Move around a small area catching minis that fall from above. There are 30 to catch in total.
  • Golf: Least amount of puts wins.
  • Dune Buggy Game: Drive around an enclosed course collection minis. The player with the most minis wins.
  • Basketball: The player with the most points at the end wins.
  • Track: First player to reach the end of the track wins.
  • Balloons: The player to pump up the most balloons before time runs out wins.
  • Skydiving: The player that collects minis before landing wins.
  • M&M Counting: M&Ms move around on screen and slowly drift off. The player who is closest to the amount left wins.
  • Targets: The player who reaches 40 points by shooting targets first wins.
  • Matching: The first player to match all 9 cards with the product shown on screen wins.
  • Pinball/Hockey? (I really don't know lol): The last player standing wins.
  • Snake: Last player standing wins: Try to eliminate opponents with your trail of M&Ms.
  • Ball Dodge: Dodge the balls fly from the sides of the screen. Player with the most dodges wins.
  • Frisbee Spray: The player with the most frisbees sprayed before time runs out wins.
  • Drag Racing: First one to the end wins.
  • UFO Game: Same as the Dune Buggy Game. After all these games have been played, the games loop, but the difficulty is increased.

That is the everything you need to know to have a basic understanding of how the game works and how to speedrun it. More guides about specific information will be writen soon, but for now enjoy running M&M's Blast!
