I got a 165hz monitor recently. Maybe if I set it back to 60hz for just this game it will solve the issue. Very clueless on PC specs affecting gameplay on non-rhythm games :/
This actually makes sense. One time, I tried playing Macbat by using an HDMI on my TV, but it may my turning radius in the race level significantly smaller, so I couldn't race properly. It seems that monitors can have an impact on how the game functions.
I was able to make some crazy sharp turns during mac race when on 165hz, but it also made some of the tricks harder/impossible to do.
I had this "glitch" 2 times during a stream a week and a half ago. I red that there is a checkpoint system in level 7, and those checkpoints extend in the grass, so you can cut turns a little bit. But 2 times in a row, during some runs, I was too greedy, and I cut the last turn too early, so it didn't validate my lap. Be careful!

I got the game on the Switch last night, and started glitch hunting. I stumbled upon this one. Basically halfway through the dungeon area, in the 'gravestone room' (or whatever that room is), pushing the stone, and getting behind it before it fully finishes moving is where you want to be. You'll be squished between the stone thing and the wall, and just pop out of bounds.
I just wish this existed on the PC version :(
